Who Are We?
SEKDER is a non-governmental, non-partisan non-profit organization established in 2012, in Ankara, Turkey. It is dedicated to the development and promotion of social, economic, and cultural development as a matter of progressing in Turkey. The activities areas that we are working on are; active citizenship, development, youth policies, sports, art, youth creativity, educational aspects, entrepreneurship and cultural activities. Main aim of the association is to empower the disadvantaged groups (children, youth, disabled people etc.) and communities by advancing sustainable community-based development, and engage them in shaping their political, economic and social environment, and to exercise their right to a socio-economic sustainable livelihood and to access fundamental social services.
